ISI INAIL 2025 call: 65% grants for workplace safety

ISI INAIL 2025 Italy 65% Grants Workplace Safety

From April 13 to May 28, 2026, companies can apply for the ISI INAIL 2025 Call dedicated to reducing accident risks. The incentive provides capital grants equal to 65% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of 130,000 euros per project. The call operates with a scoring system: to save the application, a minimum threshold of 130 points must be exceeded, automatically assigned based on company characteristics, project type and expected risk reduction.

Who can access and requirements

All companies registered in Business Register or Craft Register as of December 18, 2025 can participate, with at least 1 FTE in 2025 (except sole proprietorships). Companies that obtained ISI 2022, 2023 or 2024 grants cannot access. Investment must refer to already active operations and risks detectable from Risk Assessment Document on December 18, 2025. Natural disaster insurance policy mandatory where required.

Fundable projects: three main types

The call provides three intervention types. First concerns fall prevention from heights through permanent installation of parapets, anchors and vertical ladders compliant with UNI standards. Second finances obsolete agricultural/forestry tractor and machinery replacement: machinery placed on market before Directive 98/37/EC and tractors registered before January 1, 2005 are eligible, owned since December 31, 2022 and to be mandatorily scrapped. Third type concerns confined space risk reduction through monitoring systems, robots and drones for inspections, recovery devices and communication systems.

Additional interventions and grant

Beyond main interventions, fundable up to 80% for maximum 20,000 euros: smart PPE with sensors and software (including accessories up to 30% of cost) and climate-controlled prefabricated modules for outdoor worker protection. Technical expenses allowed up to 10% of investment (max 10,000 euros), reduced to 5% for sole tractor/machinery purchase. For machinery, eligible expenses calculated within 80% of list price. Minimum grant 5,000 euros, maximum 130,000 euros.

How it works: scoring and Click Day

During completion, system automatically assigns score: below 130 points application cannot be saved. Who exceeds threshold awaits Click Day (mid-May 2026), when application code must be electronically sent. Chronological order determines priority until regional funds exhausted. If regional resources sufficient for all applications, INAIL publishes NCD (No Click Day) lists and admitted companies automatically funded without Click Day.

Constraints and timelines

One application per company on one production unit and type. Project to complete within 365 days from grant (extendable 60 days). Disbursement as balance after reporting; advance up to 50% for grants ≥30,000 euros with guarantee. Invoices must include ISI 2025 Call and CUP reference.
